Coral is an organic yet structured work from the SPECTRAL MATRIX series, a collection that deciphers intricate geometric structures through deliberate, highly selective use of the color spectrum. Its title ‘Coral’ draws inspiration from the quiet vitality of underwater ecosystems, exploring growth, branching rhythm, and living geometry.
Constructed from 22 meticulously layered sheets of paper and brought to life through a palette of 18 vivid colors, the composition expands outward in patterns reminiscent of coral formations. Marine-inspired hues of coral pink, purple, and soft yellows create a sense of submerged depth and fluid movement. As light moves across the layered surfaces, depth and shadow reveal subtle prisms, lending the work an almost breathing vitality within its ordered framework.
Balancing natural fluidity with geometric precision, Coral brings intricate texture, movement, and luminous vitality to a thoughtfully curated space.
