X Wing - Scale Model

Scratch-built scale model of the iconic X-Wing fighter from Star Wars. Crafted entirely from acrylic and styrene sheets, built to a 1:40 scale. The S-foils are fully functional—they open into the classic “X” attack position and fold back just like in the films. The stand was custom-made to hold the craft in a pose of eternal flight.

This was my first model in plastic, combining hand-drawn parts with a few computer-aided components. A project born purely out of love for the Star Wars universe and the engineering behind its ships - machines which are icons of sci-fi engineering, and building one feels like stepping into the universe itself.
